Norfolk Tulip Garden

With their dazzling colours and beautiful buds, tulips are truly stunning springtime flowers, and when Norfolk’s fields burst into bloom it’s an incredible sight to behold. Terrington St Clement-based Belmont Nurseries is the only commercial grower of tulips in the UK, and every year their fields create vibrant views that can rival the most spectacular in Holland.

Safari trip at Woburn

This amazing 90 minute tour of the Safari Park takes guests through the Savannah Grasslands, Kingdom of Carnivores and African Forest drive through reserves, going off road on a guided tour in a VIP Land Rover.

Bicester Village shopping

More than six million people visit Bicester Village every year. They come by car, or coach, 10,000 of which arrived last year alone, they come by train – in October they unveiled a station, the first new railway line to link London to another British city for 100 years. Some arrive by helicopter, landing with a drum roll in an adjoining field. They come for the Alexander McQueen, the Céline, the Vivienne Westwood, and they stay for the 60%-offs. But it’s not just day-trippers who have been visiting since its opening in 1995. Increasingly it’s holidaymakers, too, making a weekend of it.

Windsor Castle visit

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, and if you’re in Berkshire or London then it really is a must-see. The impressive castle is the Queen’s official residence and her favourite weekend home, and she spends most of her weekends when she isn’t conducting Royal duties there. Windsor Castle has become one of the most iconic landmarks in England, and its close proximity to Heathrow Airport means that many visitors can spot the huge castle from the air on their arrival to the country.

Stonehenge

For centuries, historians and archaeologists have puzzled over the many mysteries of Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument that took Neolithic builders an estimated 1,500 years to erect. Located in southern England, it is comprised of roughly 100 massive upright stones placed in a circular layout.

Thorp Park

My first visit to Thorpe Park, one of the biggest theme parks in the UK with 7 roller coasters and lots of other great attractions! 🎢, Thorpe Park is just outside London, England and not too far from. Thorpe Park is one of the UK’s most popular theme parks, known mostly for its line up of coasters. Aimed more at the thrillseekers than other Merlin parks, Thorpe wasn’t one that I visited much as a child and only had my first proper visit this year. One of the most record-breaking rides in the park, and one I was majorly excited to get on, is Stealth. As the fastest and one of the tallest rides in the UK, Stealth is a sure fire way to get that kick of adrenaline. Here’s our thoughts on the park’s launch coaster!

Chessington Park

Leave the everyday behind and get in touch with your wild side at Chessington World of Adventures Resort! Gasp, giggle, shriek and scream as you see and do things you haven’t before! Feel your heart pound as you zoom around your first wild ride and stare wide-eyed as you encounter endangered animals.

Lavender Farm

Picture this: it’s a gorgeous summer’s day, and the wind gently ruffles your hair as you wander lazily through a field of lavender. Does that sound like perfection to you? If the answer is yes, you need to get yourselves down to Mayfield Lavender Farm.
